I omitted dialogue in the scene because I wanted to see if it was clear what’s going on. Well, what do you think is up in this scene?

But Is It a Date?

A drawing that shows Celani, a plus-size young woman with blue hair, sitting on a sagging cot in what is essentially a dorm room with several other girls. She’s wearing a long pale slip, has her legs crossed, and looks uncertain. We can see three other girls, two from behind, and one hanging over the side of the bunk above Celani’s. They look eager.
A continuation from the previous drawing, the other girls are excitedly going about getting Celani dressed. One sits on the floor, pulling out clothes to examine, and one is in the midst of pulling the slip up over Celani’s head. She is already wearing a skirt underneath.
The third in the series shows Celani before a mirror while the girl previously shown dressing her adjusts Celani’s top, seen in the reflection. The top has a very low scooping neckline, and the girl pulls it just so it can cover the bare minimum amount of boobs. Celani looks surprised, anxious.
The fourth and final in the series, the other girls are gone, Celani is dressed, but she is looking down at herself and adjusting her top self-consciously, making sure it covers her adequately. It seems she’s about ready for her date. But it is really a date?
